The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced November 4, 2026, as the commencement date for its 2026 Batch C Stream II Orientation Course.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Friday, October 2, and signed by the scheme’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.

According to the NYSC, the three-week orientation exercise will take place simultaneously across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The scheme also released the registration timetable, stating that prospective corps members will be received at their respective orientation camps from Wednesday, November 4, until midnight on Friday, November 6.

The official swearing-in ceremony has also been scheduled for Friday, November 6, when the newly mobilised corps members will formally begin the orientation phase of their national service.

The NYSC further announced that the exercise will conclude on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, with the closing ceremony marking the end of the camp programme.

The latest timetable follows the earlier announcement of the 2026 Batch C Stream I orientation exercise, which is scheduled to run from September 30 to October 20, 2026.

Prospective corps members mobilised for Stream II are expected to take note of the dates and make the necessary preparations ahead of their deployment to the various orientation camps.

The NYSC conducts its orientation course as the opening phase of the national service year, introducing participants to the scheme's activities, discipline, community development responsibilities and other aspects of the service programme.

The November exercise will therefore provide the next group of eligible Nigerian graduates with the opportunity to begin their service year after completing the required mobilisation and registration processes.
